Palermo, Sicily

Scorpio sign in Palermo Sicily Cathedral as part of 1690 meridian line and solar calendar (heliometer).  Above there’s a small hole in the roof.  on midsummer's day the light from the hole falls on Cancer and six months' later on Capricorn. Picture is courtesy of maha-online from Flickr.

Dormition Church, Jerusalem, 1945

Zodiac Signs appear on the 1908 floor of the Roman Catholic Dormition (“Falling Asleep” of the Virgin) Church in Jerusalem along with names of Prophets Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel and a verse from Proverbs 8, 23-25. The three intersecting circles in the center symbolize the Trinity. Designer of the church was Heinrich Renard.

Christian Art

The Christian Art, Scorpio picture is courtesy of henribergius from Flickr. Scorpio sign is seen on bottom right of a Georgian medieval piece of art. The order of the astrological signs is against the clock. In middle top we see the sun and opposite it- the moon. During the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the Roman Church considered Zodiac signs as representations of Christ, and this Georgian zodiac seems to be inspired by this conception.

Prague Saint Vitus Cathedral

Vitus Cathedral is the largest Church in Prague. Construction began in 1344 by Charles IV but stopped for centuries and eventually finished only in 1929.
